Never try to book a flight unless you are coherent enough to read the dates

So I booked a flight to fly to NY for my best friends untimely death (but that isn't what this is about). So I book a flight and realized that I put down the wrong return date...great. So I call up the booking agent and tell them that I need to change the return date, they then tell me that in order to do that we need to cancel the original reservation and you need to book another one...fine. They cancel it and I rebook another flight with the right return date...at least I thought. So I am now sitting in the terminal waiting to board the plane after spending another $180 to buy a one way flight cause I put in the wrong departure date...FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK ME!!!!!! What a way to start the damn day...ugh
