I tell ya. I hv drove many many trucks, more than a few suvs, and lots of cars. All with various states of good. I've had some suvs that did better than some 4x4 trucks. It really depends on the vechicle. I've had a 4x4 F350 1 ton with a huge v plow on it drive better in the snow than an 4x4 standard truck.

When the trucks left tortian bar front suspensions so tt they give a softer ride. They lost a great deal in the snow 4x4 world. My 2002 F150 4x4 was great, could plow snow with the headlights, if u catch my snow drift. 2004 newer version with coil over front susp. Garbage in the snow. Equinox AWD could eat snow, plow it with its bumper awesome. I would blow my mofos with that thing. Maybe the best snow vechicle I've ever drove.

But in each one. I know tt none of its greatness will help with turning and braking at speed. Further NO sudden movements or harsh brake. Slow down for corners and be easy on the throttle. These are the places most people lack when driving in snow in any vechicle. Couple tt with ignorant confidence from a suv or other. Equals roll overs and in general accidents.
