Taking the plunge to synthetic

My car needs an oil change so I've decided to take the plunge to synthetic. I'm being told that it is better since my car is turbo-charged. I never thought I'd be doing this, but I am.

I suppose the only thing I'll notice is that I won't have to change it so often

and that when I do change it, I'll be forking over more money... not really a surprise with this car.
