As long as she doesn't want a Glock or S&W then I'm cool with it. Unless she scores a Glock 18 somehow.

Oh yeah, what caliber are you shooting? She likes the 9mm. I let her shoot a .40 but she didn't really enjoy that.
I didn't want to continue thread jacking homeslice's thread.

WTH is that, a 50 cal?

Is her intent to conceal?

I have a 380, but want a 9mm because ammo is so cheap & I like range shooting.

I've shot 40 & 45. Not bad, just not very easy to get ammo & expensive if you do find it.

What kind of 380?? I have a Bersa 380.

I'm looking to get a TZ99 or CZ9 for range shooting.

Yep, a Bersa. I love it. Just expensive to shoot all the time.

It's a 44mag with a 4" barrel with 1" of that magna ported. Made by Taurus. Even with a 44mag (vs special) that thing is very accurate. It does shoot about a 10ft flame and always grabs attention at the gun range.

Her intent is to conceal and carry with her, plus take in a car and home defense for when I'm away (basically all around). I'd prefer she got one with more knock down power (like a 40 or 45) but if she isn't comfortable shooting one then there is no point to her having it.

I'm really open to whatever pistol she likes. I just don't think she wants to spend more than $600 which because I'm a gun snob is tough for me. I'd rather spend $1000 and get the best.

AMT has some Semi-automatics that shoot 44mags and I think a couple rifle rounds (like a 30-30 I think).

But my buddy has a 45-70 govt revolver (far left). Middle is 22mag and far right is 454 Raging Bull

Thats it. I'd love to have one.

Why can't guns be cheap and ammo expensive? So many weapons to choose from.
