Ok I get it. I am technically from there, and spent many a summer, but couldnt for the life of me recall any connection between the state and catching snakes!

Well maybe I will.

I've read some of your post and just wondered where you were. I "assumed" south of Charlotte...don't know why though. We're not too far away in Mooresville. We've caught a few snakes and turned them loose but so far no Copperheads or Moccasins. When I lived in other areas around Charlotte I've seen a few but not here.

I've only seen one Rattlesnake out and about and that was at Morrow Mountain State Park near Albemarle...almost ran over him while on my bike. This was a few years ago and a girl on the back that I was dating screamed and claimed that he was right beside the road when we rode by...I didn't even see it.

I stopped the bike and went back to check him out...pretty cool. A Park Ranger drove up and told me not to kill it or he would cite me. The only thing that got me was that it was near a boat landing and a campsite.

Oh yeah...the wife and I made it over to Tiger World...pretty cool...thanks.

Right. It's all clear now. You're perfectly sane.

Well PM me your number and I'll call you. I can hear your wife now, "Honey there's some woman on the phone that says she has a snake you need to see!" So far we've seen no rattlesnakes thank goodness.

Glad you liked Tiger World! Did you get to hear the lions roar? That was the coolest!!

Yes on the roaring...very cool !! The Baboon was cool too. He took a liking to this one girl and it was funny to see him get all upset if anyone got close to her or hugged her. He even got upset when she was leaving. Poor guy.

The wife would probably scratch her head and then laugh if you called about a snake. She caught the first two here in the yard and called me downstairs to check them out. I couldn't believe she had actually caught them. She's pretty cool about stuff like that.
