I feel really sleepy.
I don't think getting to bed early today will be a problem at all... I just hope I remember to wake up early.

Finally, I'm home.

But...I have to be up by 2:30 so I can be at work at 4. And...I'm not tired or sleepy.

Awesome show, the first part is basically from their first christmas album but with a narrator. Then they play some random stuff off their other albums. They also did a tribute song to chris oliva of savatage who died 15 years ago. Paul oneil was the producer behind savatage back then and chris cafferey, one of the guitarists i salso in TSO and the bassist from savatage played with them on this tour as well.

In the end they had a special guest come out who was none other than steven tyler to play a few songs from aerosmith.

That sounds awesome!

I didn't know Chris died. I used to love Savatage (Gutter Ballet was my favorite). I guess it happened when I stopped listening to alot of music. That's sad.

Gutter ballet is one of my favorite albums, solid tracks front ot back.I was a fan of theirs back then but then didnt listen to them much for a while (got realy into the thrash/speed metal scene) but then started listenin got more prog rock and metal and picked up dead winter dead, and wake of magellan and had been listening to a lot of that for a while.

This was TSO's 10th year of touring, and its amazing that they now play packed arenas when we first started going to their shows it was at the half filled beacon theater in NYC. A lot of the singers and musicians are locals to NY. One of the singers passed away a few years back and his dream was to play at MSG. Sadly he wasnt with us anymore when they did play the garden. What they did was played the song he sang with his recorded voice and a spotlight over an empty microphone. They said that was the only time they ever had played any recorded material on stage. I thought it was a very cool thing to do.

They've been around longer than that. I remember listening to them when I was in my late teens/early 20's & I'm well...uh......I'm way more than 10 plus 20 and we'll leave it at that.

they were around in the early to mid 80's. they put out a few albums but didnt realy take off till hall of the mountain king got some airplay and their rock opera got some noterity. They were originally from Fla too so you may have had more exposure to them down your way being they were kinda local.
