Just got off the phone with him, once he cut the lock off he realized the the front brake lever was binding, he said it is cracked where the lever bolts into and probably bent.

That is the first thing I look for when I get back to my bike...whether someone put a disc lock or a U-lock on a wheel.

I thought of the same thing at first too, but i've never seen the guy use a disk lock, only cables locks

So there are people out there that carry disk locks around just so they can fuck with other people's bikes. Seems odd to me.

I remember once I put a U-lock around the wheel and swingarm of my SV.......Then forgot about it. Put a small dent in the wheel and twisted the lock, making me call a locksmith to cut it off
