I can think of three right now that I want. The Buell, a Vrod, and a Electra Glide UC. That would handle the various riding and moods of mine.

And to answer the original Q, I have a couple of roads I ride regularly but I don't think I'm that fast on them. Don't know every turn.

I got two of our main routes memorized. Even know the hot spots where the rangers (federal land) like to hide.

Funny story about memorizing roads. I was doing one of my favourite runs in the car. Had the gf with me. I was moving along at a decent speed and she started to get nervous.

She asked me to slow down, I told her, "When we come around this corner there'll be a small white warehouse with a blue tractor trailer out front, 2 driveways down there'll be a Re-Max real estate sign with "Donna Sutherland" on it next to a red mailbox." We rounded the corner, there was everything I described in detail. She just giggled and told me to let her know when the sharp corners were coming up.

I try to run it once a day. Very scenic and has a coffee shop to stop and shoot the shit.

I'm lightning on the roads I know, molasses on those I don't unless I have someone just in front of me that I am following on an unknown road I'll be a tad quicker in those scenarios because I can judge whats coming better, but I take it easy if I'm by myself on a new road, long open curves where you can see through are cake, I'm speaking of those blind decreasing radius monsters we have around here.
