I'm hoping to do more rides like that. I would like to pick up a GPS tracking unit first such as this...just in case.

I have to go a ways away to get lost, been exploring too much around here.

Plus the Zumo always knows where I am at.

I've actually done the same thing between here and your neck of the woods. Although I did have a map that I would consult from time to time. Just so I wouldn't bypass my brother's place in Nashville and end up in Kentucky

Did this myself Saturday. There was this one really cool looking road I wanted to try that goes past my son's daycare. Unfortunately all it did was loop back around back into town! Grrr..

I learned the hard way to stay OFF county roads...my Hornet wasn't exactly set up for "gravel" and I got myself stuck...long day.

So, where 'bouts in 'bama can I find these roads? I'm always looking to get lost.

This Spring I wanna hit the backroads from Atlanta over to Huntsville, then up into TN to check out the Paper Clip project. Bet I can get lost pretty easy, huh?
