I almost LOL'd but then i realized this is pretty much "hey lets point out the silly things about old sci-fi shows because now that we have new sci-fi shows none of this stuff is relevant"...

I mean, do we make fun of buck rodgers or H.G. wells anymore? no, cause they're likely to get a re-make here in the next year or two. (oops one's already been done)

That being said.

Next time the copier at work gets jammed I'll ask IT to please reverse the polarity...why didn't I think of that before?

I'm sorry but I have loved star trek since I was a kid... all of them. Some are better than others but still...

Same here...they are comparing an 81 SECA 750 with a 10 S1000R and pointing out that the BMW is technically better.

The best part was when Mal first met Keely. Bangin' the original mechanic Or when the redhead "companion" dropped her dress [HAWT] and he bashed his head on the ladder or whatever.

Ooh, I wanna watch!!! Actually, I want to reverse the rectifiers and take a few turns off the power supply transformer's primary. Pumping up the voltage ought to teach the bastard a lesson.

oops... techno babble...

except I would bet that the 81 seca 750 has a soul, and little quwirks that make it special, whereas the bmw is just the new beast on the block. Eventually people will grow to love the bmw too but until folks start to get nostalgic the seca will always be more special to some folks
