I would try to troubleshoot the resistance of every one of the eight or ten or twelve sensors that are in the fuel injection/ignition system of a modern motorcycle with a $10 digital voltmeter.
I use my Sears voltmeter all the time on the wiring and connectors on my vintage bikes. I'm too old to guess what's wrong. On older bikes and cars it's usually corrosion and bad grounding. You wouldn't believe how many times that unplugging and plugging back a connection can make the part work. |

My CBR-specific site says to check the error codes on the FI light. I guess how many times it blinks. Does that make sense?
