So I have to be there to sign up to get fees? Can I order online, being a michigan resident?

I'm in PA and my friend Tom ( lives 2 miles away ) uses NJ EZ Pass. Lower cost ( might be free, don't remember ) and in addition to them giving you how many you want, have a lower minimum balance.

He has four for his cars/trucks and two for the motorcycles.

I have the m stamped ez pass. Haven't ridden across a brudge or tunnel since I got it. I got it a few months prior to having kids which would explain why I don't go on those long rides anymore

The closest toll booth I can think of is about 5 hours away, not far from Tmall. So generally, I dont pay tolls.

Wow, so like...all of his vehicles are geotracked?

People worry about Apple following them around, and then put a fucking tracking beacon in their cars.

Hmm. Whatever.

I suppose a paranoid person would pay cash, except for the fact that at the toll booth, your plate is photographed, and presumably run immediately the moment you access the highway anyway...so perhaps it's of little consequence either way in regards to privacy...but one does have to wonder exactly which day they will suddenly decide to start comparing your on-ramp and off-ramp times in order to just mail you speeding tickets...but I digress...
