Bottom of the tank or frame scream ceramic powdercoat. I think you can get it in black...might even be able to do the plastic airbox. But if you're gonna go that far why not yank the head for a p&p and get the pistons chambers and valves coated as well.

So in real world numbers what are we talking about as far as real world performance gains? 1/64th of a hp? Is that worth un bolting the gas tank and air box?

better off spending the money on something useful like a set of steel braided brake lines or a track day

From what I've read, a 10ยบ drop increases power by about 1%... For a $6 mod, that'd be a significant gain.
