Love it. Most fun I've ever had on two wheels.

It really depends on the model. Husky only makes one long distance bike (the 610/630 series), which has been discontinued as of this year, with no replacement in sight. The rest of them are basically race bikes. High maintenance, frequent rebuild machines. Of those, even the heaviest one is under 300 lbs soaking wet. They aren't made to be ADV bikes.

Maybe for you, but not to people like Jared. Not everyone is looking for a high maintenance low lifespan bike.

WTF are you talking about? Even jtemple recognizes Husky is a high mileage low maintenance manufacturer. That's not the type of bike I want, which makes me stay away from that brand...

Yeah, that's pretty much why I stay away. I am not interested in a race motor with low rebuild mileage. I like having stuff I can ride often and not have to worry about doing a top end every couple of months.

Slight Difference in 500 Miles and 9,000 Wouldnt you say?

You made it sound like it would blow up in the first day you owned it.

It's called exaggeration. The race motors have insane tear down requirements. It's not done by miles. It's done by hours. Killboys huskies are always broken. I think he got 3-4 rides out of the last one.

I hear you. Mine is even higher maintenance than I'm used to, with valve clearance checks due every 3000 miles. The valves are ridiculously easy, though. If they didn't have the 630 when I was shopping, I would have looked elsewhere. I think the DS that's the next size down from mine has 8 hour oil change intervals. The people that own those bikes ride about 90% singletrack and don't put down tons of mileage. I have to be able to ride mine on the highway all day if necessary.

Sure it is...When you dont do it all in 6 months of owning the damn thing...

The average DRZ Owner probably takes a year longer to hit the mileage mark you achieved it in.

and mine was in 11 months of riding over 13 months. to be fair
