Theres lots of ways to ride dirtbikes... Motocross, trail riding, uphill(good luck here TX) flat track, supermoto and even trials.

WE love jumping and racing, but most of our other dirt friendlys like the trails. I only like that on the MTB. But theres lots of ways to ride the cheapest, most durable bikes around.

I even have plenty of fun on the street with mine.

I dunno, I was a lot more fat & out of shape last time I tried... well, ok, probably equally out of shape, but more fat.
Maybe the street would work... offroad proved to be too much damn work and I was pretty sure I was going to damage myself in a painful and debilitating fashion.
At least on the MTB I can only go as fast as my legs or gravity can accelerate me and the vehicle's weight doesn't pose a significant threat in crashes.

I would love to give it a try... have zip for expierence on dirt... well besides some 4 wheeler time buzzing around...
