This horse has been beat to death in an infinite number of forums, but here goes.....
If you plan on changing your oil as Zuk recommends, don't waste your money on the synthetic stuff. If you want to go further per oil change and not risk your ride, use the synthetic. When the oils are fresh, there isn't a hell of a lot of difference between dino and synthetic. However, as they gain miles, the synthetics have fewer impurities, and thus work better longer. In my opinion, if you plan on changing your oil every two or three thousand miles, you are pissing away money on synthetics. Back on topic, no flush required. Just drain and change.

synth... that is the only thing that "mobil 1" is.
And you're right... I figure its a $13k-$14k motor stock, and with the cam, springs, and roller rockers, and rocker boxes... I got at least $15k on the motor alone, with nothing on the either head ports. |

I picked up some Amsoil 10W40 at the dealer last night. $9.25 a quart of full synthetic is hard to pass up.

I had Repsol in my Zuk. I thought it made the engine noisy. Agree or disagree?

dumped SYN-3 HD synthetic in the 1125 on the last change.
guess I didn't really notice a difference, but I wasn't looking for one either... |
