Nope. Taking the MSF doesn't even get me a discount. Niether does all my national accredited safe driving classes thru work.

the same as having taken the MSF class

NEON, can you send me that link, i had it at my lost job. i tried to use the list but alot of those discounts were outdated

LOW, SBISD was where i was teaching, but i haven't taught at all this yr, and don't know if i;m gonna get a chance now that the wife is working weekends, and its me and kids all weekend.

personnally i like C/G, they're brick and mortor, 3 in houston. reasonable prices vs dealers, no not as cheap as i-net, but resonable.

Well Amorok passed the msf instructor class, msf instructors get discounts, not msf students.

Nice! I let my certification lapse at renewal time a couple of months ago, so I'll get to go through that whole course again once I have time to teach again.

How hard is it to take the instructor course? And what are the prerequisites?

And Rider gave me 5% for my MSF, USAA gave me 10%

it's not particularly hard, just takes alot of time.

in TX

you have to be a range aid X? times, like 6-7, that means 6-7 weekends you work for free and all weekend

then the class itself is 1 week long

+ you have to take the Basic class within a yr of trying to become an inst. so there's another weekend.

it's a good personnal rewarding thing, and it doesn't pay to badly either, on avg about $20/hr,

Dairyland gives us a discount for our MSF class certificates - don't recall what it is off the top of my head.
