Guess there is an advantage of being here!
Thats semi filthy. I rode to work a few times in the rain when my jeep was in the shop. I did wipe it down once after that...but there was still shit on it. I like to keeps my shit spotless.

It was 17 below zero this morning. I checked the oil in my wife's car and decided to add a half quart. My garage is detached and unheated. The 10W40 flowed out like molasses.

Back in October, we got 16 inches of wet snow and I was riding two days later. We got 5 inches in yesterday's storm, but only because it was so cold. Wolf Creek Pass, where Drewpy wants to ride next spring, got 54 inches. Last year they got almost 70 feet of snow.

It'll be in the 40's this weekend and I hope the snow and ice here will be gone.

We almost had a record high today.

I went out for lunch; beautiful blue skies, ambient temp was 82*.

You guys can keep that cold noise.

As soon as the salt goes down I'll be done and I'm sure that will come this weekend.

Minus the chilling wind gusts, the snow, and the salt I would not ride because the last 20+ feet of my drive (down hill going out) is a solid sheet of ice. No chance in hell I'd be attempting to ride the bike over that.
