I have maybe 3000 songs total. I do it the same way Tmall mentioned for the most part. Unless it's a band I really like and I know I love every song on the album. Then I'll grab the whole thing.

You guys are missing out on a lot of good stuff! If you like one song by a band, why not check out their others? Songs played on the radio are typically the singles with "broader appeal", so you might find tracks you like even better if you check out their whole album.

I have about 20 gigs on my other comp. On a new one right now so I can't check for sure. I had 35 gigs about 2 weeks ago but went through and sorted what a do and don't still like.

It's not that I haven't heard them. I usually just don't download a song unless I really like it. Or if I do download a bunch by a band I've found I like, I usually only really like one or two.

I'm definitely not a listen to mediocre music kind of person, it has to be awesome!

Half the time I just hop on youtube, then I know I'm listening to/downloading the right song..

I have 116g, roughly 26694 songs. The last album I bought was wutang in 1994, and that was a cassette which doesn't translate to MP3 too well
