I would have just made sure you parked on a hill, use the slant to your advantage and call it a day.

Sure, because you can just create a hill anywhere you want. Eh, if there isn't a hill where you need to park the bike, go find one, then walk to wherever you need to go.

I remember seeing an adjustable kickstand that somebody made. He cut the kickstand in half, drilled and tapped both ends, and put a threaded rod with locknuts on it into the two half's. You would turn the bottom half to the correct length and tighten the nuts against the upper and lower kickstand. If you need a lot of length you could maybe use a turnbuckle instead of a threaded rod.

Maybe instead of rubber, you could just drill and tap the feet on your centerstand, then make it adjustable... Long bolt through and a nut on top to lock it down... Not sure what the current feet look like, so it might not work.
