Poutine is a Quebec thing. If you think that the French from France have a corner on the "clog an artery" type food, then you've never seen what a Quebecois can do in the kitchen. Poutine is French fries with chunks of cheese curd melted over them by piping hot gravy. The industrial stuff like what you get at A&W up here is OK, but the best is bought from chip wagons along the side of the road; massively thick cut fries with gravy and fresh curd

That sounds freakin' awesome!

Try it with a meaty spaghetti sauce instead of gravy. And you'll think you died and went to heaven.

Italian Poutine ftw!
And then, there's turkeytine. Fries, stuffing, turkey, and cheese all covered in gravy. That's #2 on the list of all time best poutine.

I would think I'd have died for sure.

I like my arteries. I don't like to punish them that much.

Sounds as appealing as head cheese.
