Does it really help that much for street use? The stock brakes on the gixxer feel great.

Get"em. You will notice the difference and likely never go with out again. I personally can live with out it on the rear but a must for front. I even have'em on my Harley.

They provide a great lever feel.

I bet I'm the only one staying up until 2:00 am to watch F1 China qualifying right?

It's one of those things where you don't realize how much you needed it until you do it, like setting up your suspension. For street, it's not needed as much, but they still provide great overall feel and responsiveness. The track is where they shine.

steel braided lines are a great investment. put some on after indy. they really make the pads bite down on the rotors. cheap too.

Only did the front, dont need any more help locking up the rear.

The only reason I'd get the rear is to match the fronts, but fuck that.

when in the world can you ever justify needing more power on the rear brake?

Unless you mean aesthetics. then ya, sure. match it up.

The front and rear brake lines are braided on mine. It locks up the rear wheel and puts me into a slide very efficiently, half pressure while coasting at 40 mph and I'm fishtailing like crazy. Pretty dumb.
