Shattered kneecap works pretty well. I recommend it to anyone who wants a part of their body to never quite be the same.

I am currently unemployed (long story) and having back issues; the back thing has cut down on my riding, but buying and selling bikes right now is paying the bills.

When I can no longer physically ride, I guess I'll quit.

I am not an adrenaline junkie; I don't think I've ever ridden for thrills. It's a lifestyle for me; I ride because of the relaxation, challenge, peace, and personal contact it brings......I'm always learning something new about myself, or riding, or meeting new people.... why would I want to give up that?

I quit because the risk versus reward scale was no longer favorable. Perhaps someday it will be again.

Severe injury... I would like to think that my wife would never actually ask me to stop riding (though she has been giving me hints that she'd like me to after the incident over the summer).

probably money or the ability to do it safely(going blind or polio or something).
ill ride everyday for months, totally neglect the truck, and then maybe not touch the bike for a week or two. but as long as i know its there, and i can hop on even if its just to go around the corner, im good
racing, ill probably stop a year after i cant afford to go faster. lack of progress is boring

riding is like a naturally beautiful woman that usually does what u tell her, cooks you dinner and "keeps you happy" -hard to give that up...racing is like the really hot kinda slutty lookin chick thats a freak who knows shes not leaving the next morning without an encore, but still knows shes leaving lol

eventually u want the chick who leaves to make u breakfast, not the one who leaves so u can wash off the smell of alcohol n sex lol

Odd, because I want the one who can leave without waking me.

Why not the one who makes breakfast while you wash off and get ready for round 2 (3, 4, 5)?
