New Years Eve is the 31st. Therefore, New Years Eve eve is the 30th.

I wondered if I was the only one to catch the 2nd "eve"

Was at Mom's today and got a tree for my Dept 56 village, camisole, shampoo, and money that she will get back. My sister had my name since we exchange and got me a gift certificate to the store where I buy my running shoes (Second Sole).

I'm sorry, I read that as "...an electric girdle..." I was wondering how that was going to work!

I got a cool pair of socks and a pair of gloves (we had a spending limit this year...). Best Christmas ever...

TOTALLY being a hater but I'm amazed at how many so called adults get toys and money from their mommy and daddy on Christmas! My damn GF got almost 2k between her parents and grand parents plus a bunch of other stuff!

My parents gave me exactly what I wanted, a car starter! I got a jade necklace from my sister who picked it ip in china when she went with my husband. Hubbu gavee silk sheets and duvet cover and a silk filled duvet. I got books a gift certificate for a maternity clothes store and a bunch of neat trinkets and stuff from Korea that Greg had a coworker pick up while there. Only thing not great about Christmas was mom being in the hospital which really really sucked.

Parents got me a few odd things and a movie. One brother got me a $100 gift card to Academy(I am not sure I have ever spent that much there...ever) the other brother and sis in law got me a target gift card and a bracelet.

Hubby got me some silk "boxers", an iPod Nano(the one with video), a Brighton bookmark(I've been asking for a nice bookmark for months) and a first edition copy of Gulliver's Travel.

We won't have xmas with his family until February, so I'm not sure what all we will get from them.
