So we think we have a lead into where they got the goat. A few blocks a way is a big sign in a field that says "Goats for Sale" and there is a handful of goats running around. They were probably having a a big cashmere event. To promote it they had these all over the place (cashmere comes from goats, etc). As they were driving by and saw them, they thought it was hilarious. They joked about how cool they were and how funny it would be to have one to keep in their house or something, especially with the funny look/expression they had on their face. Well, they took that to heart and decided to get one for Christmas. Although it's a little early and they might not celebrate Christmas. But hey cool, now they have a f'n goat!
