Rome is refuckingdiculous. It was like Zoom said there may be 3 lanes, and they somehow squeeze 3 cars, 2 scooters, and a pedal bike into them. There were times I curled up and cringed because I thought our driver was going to take out someone on a scooter or bike. Thailand is worse.

Give me time.
I hate being rushed.

Speaking of bad drivers, I was coming into work yesterday. I pull onto a crowded street and find a cube van going the wrong way in my lane. And I'm not talking going around a car, he was cutting at least half a mile down the line of cars.
So, me being the gentleman that I am, hugged the yellow line nice and close and gave him zero room. He thought he'd be ballsy and steer right for me. I gassed it. He found room in his own lane rather quickly. All the while I'm laughing. If he gets injured, he's probably looking at lost wages, possibly losing his job. If I get injured, it's like a vacation. And then I come back to an easy job until I'm 100% healed up. Dumbass... |
