I use my brain when violence is escalating, the big one...not the little primitive brain. My life and my family are too important for bravado. Should there be no other choice, then my wife and I are both armed.

We all know it's just like the movies. Not like the deputy Kyle Dinkheller video where he's screaming for his life as some nutjob shoots him in the face to finish him off after shooting him in the extremities to immobilize him. We all know, it's nothing like that. The average person can take numerous bullets and shrug em off, getting shot/shooting somebody ain't no thang.. |

I started carrying a live firearm when I was 6 years old. Carried it everyday, and I was always taught what should be the #1 rule of firearms.....Don't Fucking Play With Guns.

I've had a CCW for over 10 years and I've only had to point my gun at someone once. It was some road raging fool who stopped in front of me and jumped out with an ASP baton and started running towards my truck. He stopped when he saw the gun, cursed me out, then left.
I've drawn more times than I care to remember though. Like 6 months ago, some dumb whore in a Hummer almost caused a multiple car collision at an intersection (she ran the red light turning right). I along with the other cars that she almost hit started flipping her off. I turned into McD's a block down the road and as I finish my order, she pulls up and 5 guys hop out and start talking shit. I ignore them and pull up to the window when 1 of them starts walking up between the building and my side of the car. I drew and told him (he couldn't see my gun) that I was armed and I WILL DEFEND MYSELF if he steps up to my window. He stopped instantly and they all stood there calling me a pussy (yeah, 5 guys against me and I'm the pussy??) until the McD's guy held a phone out the window and said he was calling the police. I will always have a gun on me as much as legally possible. I also never leave the house without my Emerson K-bit (weak-side carry) and my Emerson Super-Commander (strong-side carry). People are fucking crazy and I refuse to be a victim. I will do everything in my power to be ready to defend my friends and my loved ones from attack. |

What part of training? The part that says, "to close with and destroy the enemy with shock and violence."

Ammo that can be a hazard to yourself should be given to the enemies. Of course if you have had any unconventional warfare training at all, you'd know that.
