insurance appraiser comes tomorrow to take a look, i am going in at 8am to clean it out am take a vac to it, make it look as spotless as possible, i owe more then the KBB is on it because of all of the goodies it has on it, i know that the insurance agency knows my hobbies and when i had a quad stolen a few years ago they gave me retail for every part on the bike, i know that is not going to happen this time around, but atleast the big parts are enough to offset alot of the cost, i mean hell the turbo is a easy 2k, intercooler $500 retail ect. i plan on making a list tonight of everything with cost too

Did you give them a list of aftermarket parts when you first created the policy? Otherwise I doubt they'd cover it. I know I wouldn't if I was an agency.

im pretty sure the only reason they cover me for so cheap is because my old man and I are with the same company and he has 2 corvettes, a hummer, a buick and a home owner policy, we are 2 seperate policies, but i think sometimes they are lenient for me, well up until now

Well good luck, anything is possible with insurance if you haggle enough.

i was smart enough to add every possible option to my policy, a low deductable, rental coverage, all the umbrella add'ons, you never know when shit happens, and sometimes, shit happens... esp. when you own a sportscar
correction, shit happens when you drive curvy roads at the speedlimit at a apex when they are wet |

this might sound bad, but it will be nice to get out from under this car, even if they only pay part of what its worth if it was stock, since i blew up the engine i put the money i was planning on putting down on the loan to fixing it (about 8k) and had to pay damn near $400 a month for insurance and car note combined

God damn Drewpy! Jesus man...and I'm the one who's sposed to be in a bubble?!?
Glad you're okay, glad the GF is mostly ok, tho you both might want to get checked, you might be sore. Good luck with her btw, I'm not certain why a car accident would make her stop talking to you, but chicks are crazy. |
