Install outlook
run outlook
you should get the wizard
fill in what you need to fill in.

If that's all done and you just want to set up outlook as the default email client, I think in control panel there should be a spot where you set up defaults

I'm using Outlook on a Vista laptop. What are you unable to do? Is Windows Mail (Outlook Express) the default mail program?

I've tried that. Used the wizard, tried it without the wizard. Maybe I need Ruby Slippers.

For some reason it just wont connect to Yahoo to get my emails...I get all the info into the setup, even tried downloading some POP3 helper or something, no go. Outlook is the default, but I've never been able to get it to work...when I get home tonight I will run through it and post up the exact error.

Edit* I need it working so I can use the contacts for my iphone stuff...

Depends....what color is your version of Outlook? How much does Vista tip Outlook and is it an even dollar amount?

I thought Yahoo killed that ability years back? Now you have to pay

Note: You must be a Yahoo! Mail Plus user to read Yahoo! Mail in an email reader program such as Microsoft Outlook.

I had read that there were ways around that, I was trying to do that...

I'd hate to get rid of my yahoo, I use it for everything, I may just suck it up and pay for the damn thing, as ridiculous as that is...

Rider, is that how yours is set up?

Oh yeah, Yahoo killed POP3 for anyone not paying for Yahoo DSL. I forgot about that. So Outlook won't work if you are using a free email account.
