Not the state...just the people
Honestly I would have thought Ohio would have captured all of the top 10, followed by 5 in Michigan then the bottom 5 between Washington state & Oregon

Florida: Where Ohio goes to die (after spending most of their lives living at Myrtle Beach in the summer)

The biggest reason those CA cities got on the list was because of the housing crisis. Their prices were way inflated to begin with because of people who thought it was a good idea to buy a home 1.5+ hours from work in an area exploding with generic new homes.
You take a risk, sometimes it goes bad. Gee, that really makes a city "most miserable". To those who don't have money maybe. I would still rather live in any of those cities than Trenton, Camden, Gary, Memphis, East St Louis, or nearly anywhere in AL, MS or SC. Last edited by Homeslice; 02-08-2011 at 08:33 AM.. |

Personally, I agree with FTL and WPB being miserable cities.

Damn... California, Florida, and Ohio got killed on that list. I can definitely understand Cleveland and Youngstown, but Toledo? I would probably put Dayton on there before Toledo.
This is so true. Or Hilton Head.
