Default he threw the bike to avoid the accident (video)

http://failblog.org/2011/04/30/epic-...-braking-fail/

Actually it looks to me like he locked the front wheel and lost it, but still a pretty shity way to go down

Yeah right. He tried to brake and swerve at the same time and lost the front wheel.

that's noob failure, there is no dive to the front end, he isn't on the front hard, if even at all. Losing the front is laughable. No lock up is audible. Almost looks like he jumps off. Probably tried to rear brake and said "fuck it, I'm out."

I am fucking going over the handlebars I am on the front so hard in that situation.

WTH - he didn't seem to be going that fast

I agree with Trip on the assessment

I'm with Trip and Particle Man.

He wasn't going that fast. He wasn't paying attention to WTF he was doing. The truck spooked him and he pulled a rookie panic maneuver.

Good thing he laid it down. He could have been in an accident otherwise...

Didnt know you had the option to turn it off, those sneaky germans Seems liek he had plenty of time/room to brake and make that stop.
