Default My dog is hurting.

He was fine when I got home and walked/run just fine. Then a couple hours ago he was laying on his side and went to get up and yelped. From then on he's been walking slow and I can't tell if he's hunching his back some or not. I REALLY hope it's not back problems.

He's eating just fine right now. Just walking slow with a slight limp. I hope the vet has an open slot tomorrow.

I touched/rubbed all around his back and all his legs. He never gave me a sign of pain.

My co workers dog just pulled it's back. But you can't give a dog pain meds cause then it will over exert its injury thinking like it feels better. The pain forces them slow down.

My vet has told us to give Manny advil before. In fact, we have doggy pain meds we keep on hand because Manfred plays HARD (as you know). He's pulled muscles playing frisbee before.

Max caught his paw and lower leg in between ground clutter before while turning and burning....running around a field not far from my house...strained his "elbow" joint on his right front leg. He HOWLED and cried....it was hard to watch...vet checked him out...no structural damage, thankfully. He gimped around for awhile and then was good as new.

It SUCKS to see your friend hurting. I hope he/she heals up well too.

He seems better today. Had a rough night with him wanting to sleep on his side but hurt him to do so so he had to be on his stomach all night and he couldnt get comfortable. Woke up a lot hetter and moved about just fine. He ate and took a dump.

I hope its just an upset stomach. But he does have a slighty long back. His back legs look a tad stiff while moving.

Back from the vet. I had them tak an xray of his back and all the disc are equally spaced except one spot but were not sure if thats the problem. They gave himtwo prescriptions. One is a pain pill and the other is a artritis/pain chewable.

He said to keep him lazy for a week and see what happens.

He was fine when I took him, but after the xray he was back to walking slow/limping. The tech said they had to move him about so that probablyis his back.
