Default Winter bike projects....

Who is planning one?

What do you have planned? Mods to your favorite ride? Building a track bike? What do you all have going on this winter for bike projects?

My bike is finally exactly how I want it! I am not touching a thing!

Plus...we don't have room for any more bikes (or cars for that matter!) If we did I would be scared to see how many bikes we would have hanging around!

m yplan is to finish the TL project I started 2 years ago then ran ou tof money.

I took the bike completley apart and will powdercoat the frame, subframe, swingarm and rims. Have the bodywork painted, replace the clutch and a few seals that didnt want to work anymore, then install a clear clutch cover and a new pressure plate. Then maybe add a CF exhaust.

I am picking up a ton of shifts at my side job so this month I can swing the cash to do the powdercoating and then I can start reassemble while I save up for paint and other goodies

What is winter???

Leon has a streetfighter F2 frankenbike he is working on, with an F4i swingarm, gsxr 1k forks, etc. Its going to be so sick when he is done;

Hey Tommy, if you need any advice about the TL, ask Leon or Gix. Leon pretty much totally rebuilt his old TLR, and Gix is, well Gix

Well after last winters Phoenix project I don't want to do any bike projects. Unless it involves somebody else's bike. Otherwise, for me its all house projects.

Maybe some clutch work to make the lever pull a bit easier...but most likely nothing.

The duc is getting a new tail and a valve adjustment.

Making a new bash plate for the KTM, since the old one got, well, bashed. Also some new GPS/Rollchart mounts and a luggage rack for next years TAT attempt.

The Triumph is coming out of boxes finally. Still haven't decided if I want to totally bastardize it and put the 916 swingarm on it, or restore it to original (it's a '69).

It's going to be a long winter.
