I suspect I get use to them and turn them off while I am barely conscious and go back to sleep. I have to put one well away from me as a backup on the latest time I can wake up and I have a close one I can snooze. I have thought about just using the backup all the time, but sometimes I like to go into work early and sometimes I like to snooze a few times.
Or the alarm clock monster is turning it off.

Oh the drama of alarms clock not going off...the world is going to end.

Nope. Just another worthless thing that made national news.

I dunno about you, but every since I was about 25 I'd wake up 5 minutes before my alarm anyway... I think it has something to do with not getting wasted every night and being on a consistent schedule.

same here... but there are nights... about once a month where that alarm does wake me up...

I use my phone alarm to keep me on schedule... lets me know when I need to be getting ready for work (I work out before work) and when I should be stepping out the door.

never failed me yet...but I have turned them off accidentally or in my sleep stupor... and woke up like WTF! only to remember turning it off later

I wish I could get on self awake schedule. I been waking up at the same time for years and just never get use to it. I do wake up early on my own when it is something I actually want to do though. Like if I need to get up early to go for a ride.
