I finally got some pics of my Mosin (now Mosins!) After I bought my first, I decided I wanted to have one to mod and one to restore. The first pic is my first Mosin. It's a 1943 91/30.

This one is the one I stumbled across and got really lucky finding it! It's a 1915 New England Westinghouse American-Made M91! One of the more rare versions of the Mosin platform.

Ya can't get anything right now dammit! The gun I want is unavailable everywhere and then the NRA put it on the cover of their latest magazine so, now everyone will want one! I'll get one eventually but, probably not until next year. Here's the sexy beast I want! 6.5 Creedmoor of course! The really tragic thing is right after I buy it I'll probably lose it in a terrible boating accident. Seems to happen a lot around here.

I finally got to take the Mosin out to the range with my Archangel stock and Blackhawk bipod! I was hitting 12" plates at 300 yards with open sights. I don't think I've ever been more tickled with a gun than I have with this one! It's got the sweetest trigger! It's better than the match trigger on my Marlin! Next time I go I'll shoot some video!
