Derf, I got your FB message about being able to fit two bikes...I'm 95% sure I can squeeze two bikes in the bed...but we should try and do a test fit before its time to leave just to make sure.

All right, so now it looks like there's a small chance I end up coming solo. No way of knowing for the next couple of days. If I do have to will I be able to cancel my reservation and bunk with someone, or will I be stuck?

OK, there's a really good chance I can't make it at all. Just got another round of bills in. The monsters called INSURANCE and RENT have found me. Fucking city. Then there's the fact that I need a new chain- I wouldn't trust this one that far. And I don't feel like making my girl sleep on the floor, so a new (BIGGER!) bed is in the works.

Yep it's funny how the unexpected expenses like rent, insurance, utilities, etc can really catch you unaware... Just wait until you realize that you MAY have to pay for food...that will really put a damper in your vacation plans.

I have them covered. It's the bike stuff that I didn't count on. Like needing a new $110 chain, and $200-300 tires. And I still haven't replaced the bent $160 handlebar. I'd probably spend more on food on the trip than fuel, and the cabins aren't too much split four ways.
