Since this thread is already in mid-hijack I don't feel bad about adding my two cents on the new GSXR front end. I finally think they got the design right. I never liked the previous generation's nose. Looks too much like some ugly ass bird with a pointy beak... gonna peck yur eyes out. But that's just my opinion.

I love my 08 750 and before this bike I had an 07 750. My 08 def has more midrange than my 07 though. Motor cyclist mag has posted that the 08 750 has 129.7 BHP @ 14,250 RPM and 53.9 lb.-ft @ 11,250. My 07 750 had like 134 hp and like 51 lb.-ft with an Arrow thunder ti slipon and BMC race filter(was broke in on the dyno). I had the dyno sheet but let it go with the bike when I sold it so will have to get a copy from my buddy next time I head out to his shop. My 08 has about 900 miles on it and after I get 1000 miles on it i'm gonna throw it on the dyno and see what she has, that is if it will stop raining so I can get to ride her.
Also on break in's it's about heat cycles and nice and smooth throttle changes, well atleast thats what i've be told.

Full exhaust, PCIII, BMC filter, and velocity stacks it should be capable of mid to upper 140's.
