i typically adapt a "live and let live strategy" for huge scary bugs, i figure if they've made it this long it'd be a shame if i took em out.

I think about it like culling the herd as for the beneficial aspect I really don't need any more predators here. The cats are disturbingly effective at taking down most anything that enters the house. Watched max bitchslap a fly out of the air and eat it the other day

my dog was beaten by a moth yesterday. And not like the moth flew away, he was actually being chased by it and dive bombed once or twice. It was a spectacle.

Lol. Did a little poking around and this appears to have been a member of the dolomedes family, or the fishing spiders. Kinda curious, I may have to check my drains again

See, I used to do that. Now, I've modified my strategy, at least indoors. Not because I'm really all that fucking benevolent to bugs, I just hate spraying neurotoxins in the house.

Febreeze!

Surprisingly, it kills a lot of bugs. Worst case scenario, it leaves them fresh and clean-smelling, as it does the room.

interesting. wonder whats in it? i found carb cleaner is damn near instant kill on ants. too precious to test on other species though
