hmmmmm, good point. I guess not. I just kind of thought they went hand in hand.

I don't know if they keep that kind of stuff on file or not or how long, but would you be able to see a copy of the ticket and at least compare signatures? Also, the ticket should have the vehicle make model and license plate, so that'll give you an idea if it's you or someone pretending to be you.

And I'm sure I can get copies of the tickets if I can get someone on the phone!

the DMV in either area really sucks, you're gonna be on hold for a few weeks easy. its gonna be easiest to go down to the DMVs in those counties and speak to someone in person.
