A lighter rider with a smaller "cross section" could see 60-65MPG.

Best tank I ever got, I went 180 miles before the fuel light came on. Usually the light came on at 150 miles.
Me too... 150 was about right... I almost did 190 one time and about 15 of that was after the light came on... I was sure glad I found that gas station when I did...

Once the light comes on, you have 29.5 miles. NO MORE! Don't ask me how I know.

Yea holy shit! How'd you like to be the guy that bought one the Fri before the announcement? Steve would have been okay because of the 3 day rule but what if he had bought it on the previous Fri/Sat?

I was talking to the finance guy at my dlr. He said there were a few of those. The dealership can't do anything about it. Told the customer to call buell and/or corp directly.

No shit!

It's really strange how it all went down. I'm really diggen this bike now that I'm not redlining it every shift.

You know, I went through the same thing when I rode my friend's S1 years ago.
I was riding a YZF600R at the time so what did I try to do?
Wrap up the RPMS!
And I remember the feeling distinctly... Oooooh... here comes the power... and then at ~4500rpm... poof... rev limiter.
It didn't stop me from being interested in Buells, but it certainly made me realize the striking difference in motors.

The happy spot for the XB engine is around 4,000 and you ride the torque curve to around 6,000 and shift.

It ain't like a 600 where you have to rev the crap out of it.

The 1125R, on the other hand....
Yes yes, I'm taking it easy through break-in.
