I don't know I'm going off the reports of the car forum I frequent. No one had a good review of it.

Had a Viper SRT10 vs. a Cobra attack helicopter, had 3 lambo's do a standing mile then let the "stig" take all 3 around the track. Had Buzz Aldrin driving the compact car on the track. Show is set up exactly like the original Top Gear, but doesn't have anywhere near the "fun factor" of the original. They need different hosts.

I didnt care for the dude with the black hair. Fat guy and skinny guy were funny. The show definately dragged, but it was their first show. It very much reminds me of the older episodes of top gear UK when it was Clarkson, Hammond and the fat guy, before James may.
The US show just didn't seem to work, my guess is that it will get better, but none of the segments were all that great. The viper vs the helicopter was boring, and I sat there wondering how come they never just hit the brakes and let the damn thing fly right over head, or turned, that would have worked too. Buzz Aldrin, while funny enough trying to drive a car fast just wasn't entertaining, someone less than 125 years old would have worked better. The last part with the lamborginis was good but watching them go fast just wasn't entertaining. Maybe if they had driven to a cone, done a donut around it and came back, fastest wins, that would have been entertaining. They just need to find their feet, make their own jokes, it could be an awesome show.
