Bah! Political threads are fun.

I poke at legislators with point-ed sticks too.

I read through them but don't post much in them. It kills me how some are so far left and some are so far right and hate the other side and no matter what is posted...none of them change their opinions.

The most fun is when people try to categorize someone who is dead in the middle of the political map, but fail miserably. Very few people seem to know what to do about a "Canadian conservative"

You can thank PET for that.

John Baird is pretty conservative.(although overly excitable, and will one day be caught in a scandal equal to Mulrooneys)

I thought that we had one in Harper but he lost my support just 2 weeks into his first term, when he broke all of the promises that made me vote for him.

I would like to see John Tory run for Federal office, even if I don't agree with many of his stances. He's honest and speaks his mind, rather than hiding behind political double-talk. I don't know if you know this, but he's actually doing the afternoon drive on CFRB - Talk 1010 these days. Terrible radio personality; good politician.

If you keep not tipping, others are going to hit you upside the head eventually. Or you might get a spitburger.

We're just looking out for you.

Oh and as a complete aside....I cannot stand the 'welcome to the internet' comeback because it lacks both insight and creativity. A lowest common denominator comeback if there ever were one. I give certain forum members more credibility for their debating skills....so when one falters my faith in the system falters.

(and for those of you fucktards who are going to jump all over me because that's what you like to do with every post of mine......look up TONGUE IN CHEEK and then get back to me).

ps. I'm feeling saucy today!
I said to the internet because clearly it's your first day here and you don't know how forums work, crazy lady.
