Ahh lake effect snow FTL

I also think just the areas being less densly populated helps. In many parts of brooklyn and queens there are always cars parked so you cant get in and get the snow out of there.

Man...just went back to check on this thread since I haven't been here for a few days and the amount of snow some of you deal with...GEEZ !!!

The wife made it home fine last Friday the 12th but her pics looked pretty much like what some of you have posted as far as the amount of snow that hit the Pa. and surrounding areas. Like I said though...she was at a ski lodge so was as happy as could be until they attempted to drive home.

Weathermen are finally picking up what I'm putting down on the storm for next week. Could be ice/snow at this point. Or rain or just snow...but something is coming.

That's what we were laughing at this morning...when it finally warms up here in the spring and especially during the summer and then one day drops to 59 or 60 we'll be b!tching that it's too chilly !!

I remember college when it would hit 40 in the dead of winter and ppl would walk to class in shorts and tshirt. And you're right...it gets to 60 in the summer and we're freezing our dicks off.
