Pantera twitter feed posted this song this morning. It's a lost track that Dime wrote with Zakk. Different, not great...but it's Dime. Miss that guy.

It's different. I often wonder about guitar players who aren't around. Like Randy. How fucking good would he be today if he were still alive. And SRV. Hendrix. You know.

Yep I think about that too. There are still some good ones around though.

Oh absolutely. I was listening to the RR Trib album recently. At 20 somthing years old that guy was unfuckingbelievable. And Oz has said he thought, had Randy lived, he woulda left the band do to more avant garde jazzy type stuff. I just wonder how insane of a player he would be 20 years later.

He's like a billion years old. Check out the set opening, Bark At The Moon, sounds even worse. He loosened up as the show went on. Paranoid was the closer.

I like this guy, but I like Zakk's flashy style better. And Gus did the Paranoid solo almost note for note like Tony did it. I like to hear each players own interpretation like Randy and Zakk had.

I don't think I've ever heard Randy do Paranoid. I'll have to look for it.

It's on the RR Tribute album. It's good. My favorite version for sure.
