fire is usually my goto when i find something i just HAVE to kill. strangely, circumstance has more to do with it than anything.

Woe be the creature that happens upon me on the crapper, or washing my face, for its fate is sealed.

Brake cleaner is good too. It's fairly effective on large wasp nests, but you have to bring the pain to get all of them... including the ones that haven't hatched yet. Ever try to get a couple hundred sleepy wasps out of a four foot long trailer tongue? Ever notice they're in there when your head is under said tongue, and you're trying to run wires through it?

I like to flood the thing, get it nice and dripping, watch a few fly out and fall dead, then light the jet and touch off all that wet nest material. There are always many, many more than you think.

my dad used to get this shit for bees that was was a hair away from being weapons grade nerve agent. wildest shit you'd ever seen in your life. he'd be out back with his army issue promask on spraying flyers and they'd drop dead on contact. fucking wild. watched him erradicate a nest in an old swing set like that once

Outside...they usually get to live.

Inside...they die.

Hairspray or WD 40 and a lighter will do wonders to them. I used to kill wasps that way. Singe their little wings off and when they fall to the ground, step on them.
