Truth, if I want mileage, I take the bike.
Pickup gets about 15-16, car gets between 12-19, depending on my mood (Buell averages about 42) Even once I have kids I don't think I'll get an "economical" minivan. I'm actually hoping that the EcoBoost gets put into the Expedition so I can pick one of them up for the wife to be. |

2006 Acura RSX 5 Speed. Nothing too special but decent gas mileage and pretty fun to drive through anything twisty.

07 Kia Optima - beater/winter car. 76k on the odometer.
05 Subaru Legacy Sedan. 50k on the odometer. Pics are in the other thread like this and I'm too lazy to re-add them to this thread. |

Just sold ours this weekend (the car should get picked up in the next day or two). How long have you had yours? M bought hers new... loved it, but it's time to let it go.
Took longer to sell than I expected, but I suppose it's a niche car and you just have to wait for the right buyer. Daily driver? I had a loaner 528i-m a week or so ago. I nearly needed to change my pants when I saw the M emblems, but quickly realized it was still the straight-6 in M clothing. So, all the performance of 6 with the less-functional M series steering wheel. How is the 1 series M? I hope it's more peppy than the one I had... that's a trademark I would hate to see get watered down. |

It's a 135i with the M-kit. It is not the 1M. That means, it's the 135i with the monster brake kit, wheel, traction control and sport suspension. The M brings more than the steering wheel and stickers. Brakes make all the difference. It's amazing how much faster you can go when you know you can stop when you want to. All we've done to it is the black kidney grills and got wheels/tires [got off the run-flats and ditched the silver M-wheels]. It's my favorite car right now - TONS of fun. It's the semi-automatic, double-clutch seven speed paddles.
