Cayman...... The magazines say it's more direct-feeling than the 911, and is more confidence-inspiring on tight roads

Yeah I know, you think it's kinda "downscale" compared to the 911, but weren't you the one who gushed over a 1-series BMW awhile back?

Uh, I HAVE a 1-series I love it. Love, love it.

While I am in love with the idea of a GT2, GT3 or GT3rs for the sexy beasts they are, we are looking for something a bit more cool, like a '73 with a modern rebuild, current engine, brakes, suspension.

If you get a GT3- I'll visit Austin and trailer my car down. We can run the track. I'd throw everyone on this forum off a cliff for a GT3 or a GT2 cup car.

I'll make it into that category of car once my daughter is out of college....until then, I'll put some money into mods for the Z....put 2 grand into a sound system today...just for fun...haven't had an aftermarket sound system since I was rolling my '69 Camaro in high school.

Next up, CAI and exhaust...I think I'll leave forced air alone for a year or two.

"Trunk" is a bit of an over statement...that space is largely for appearances only....it's not wide enough to hold much of anything due to the shock mounts....and it's not tall enough either due to the glass in the hatchback.

It's not a "haul things around" car in any event....we can use either of the Civics we own for that.....this is just a toy for me to enjoy DRIVING.

The amp should be fine, heat wise....it has a radiator...and doesn't push big heat at the wattage it runs.
