If you want to get away from people, head to Fredericksburg or hill country and enjoy the scenic country-side.

I was never that impressed with the Stockyards and it's certainly not worth a 4 hour drive to see it IMO.

We live South of Austin a few miles but we'll be out of town for the holiday weekend or I'd say come out and play on the dirt bikes with us.
Thanks. I have seen the Riverwalk at San Antonio and will be going there next weekend with some friends.

Dirt bikes would be so much fun. Maybe next time

its in New Braunsfels, and there's a HUGE outlet shopping area there as well.
Not big on the waterpark idea, especially with it being a holiday weekend. The shopping area would be nice, but shouldn't be spending any more money. I haven't saved nearly what I wanted the last 6 months.

That's the hotel I was talking about.

I pm'd you my number, I'll be around - and even at the track on Monday if you want to come hang out.
Perfect. I'll be texting you. I have to be back by 1600 on Monday so I won't be able to hang at the track for very long, if at all. But would be nice to meet you (and anyone else that I'll be near).

You never know. I have a feeling I'll end up back in Texas sooner rather than later.

Dangit! No bikini shots.

Well if you're ever up in the panhandle or in the Abilene area give me a shout. Not too much to do but I like to take rides to old small towns. It's cool to see some places standing still in time. Ghost town hunting is on my to do list this summer.

On the texas forum they do a pie run. They're usually in the Dallas/Austin area so I miss a bunch of them. I make a couple though.

There are some on my FB page

I'll be coming through Abilene on the drive home from Fort Worth, as I think I'm gonna hit Austin first. So if you want to meet, I'll be there on Monday some time in the morning, early afternoon. I can PM you my number.
