Yeah Rider... as you've notice... we're mild gear nazi's here... just hate to see members get hurt... especially cause there's no good reason NOT to wear your gear... IMO at least.

Take care of yourself... and Dress for the Crash... not the Ride.

I read it. On/Off Ramps are usually right turns though.

As far as I'm concerned, riding without gear is tempting fate. I hear way too many riders crashing that had planned to buy, or just didn't wear gear because they were "only cruising", or "going to the mart for cigs."

DOT approved doesn't mean it's a good idea. The only thing I think those helmets are good for is acting as a chip bowl at a party.

Glad you're alright. But, take this as the mulligan and be ready for the real deal. It isn't that you can't afford to buy the jacket to ride, it's that you can't afford to ride without the jacket.

The offramp was like an S bend, It went right, then made a left and then another right onto the next road... Its like one of the only corners jersey has that is somewhat decent, but i was still taking it slow. It also looks like the freshly cut the grass earlier that day and blew the sand and Sticks into the middle of the offramp. That was just my luck... and my frame sliders were coming in today. what a bummer!

Glad you're ok and the bike isn't that bad.

My only thing I must point out... and its the opposite to the "dress for the crash not the ride" mentality...

You said you had your "cruising helmet" on but were giong too fast for said road.

Just saying...

Oh and

You're lucky you were only going 25mph.
