They did say mid range was vastly improved and it does appear to have a very nice torque graph with lots of overrev.

Big news is, as proposed it would qualify for the new (and terribly written) 2009 AMA/DMG Daytona Superbike class!!!! Looks like the 750 will come back like gangbusters!
I just read that article. Nice write up and the slight drop in top end power didn't hurt because of the improved torque down low.

Damn the other big 3 for not putting out a 750. If it wasn't for the cyclops headlight set up and the side exhaust I'd probly b sporting the 750 over my 6R, but at alas I do have to be able to look at my bike every now and then.

Have you seen the headlight for the new 750/600's?

eh its an improvement. I still think yam and honda look the best tho. Followed close by my kawi ofc All subjective tho. Not that it really matters in the end tho I could be on your 750, you on my 6, and you'll run laps around me. I gotta get my ass to the track.

Looks alright to me.

Your white 07 is still the best looking bike out tho. Wanna trade?

To each there own. While I agree it's not the best looking bike out there, nobody else makes a 750 so I was kind of forced to go with this bike although it does grow on me the longer I own it.

Since this thread is already in mid-hijack I don't feel bad about adding my two cents on the new GSXR front end. I finally think they got the design right. I never liked the previous generation's nose. Looks too much like some ugly ass bird with a pointy beak... gonna peck yur eyes out. But that's just my opinion.
